Mogale Business Park is designed to attract and support indigenous bird life. Apart from the South African national bird, the Blue Crane (of which we have six), MBP has a further 50 species of resident birds. Our bird life is managed by a recognised authority who guides us on the correct feeding, nesting and secure containment procedures.
Some of our feathered residents include: Crowned cranes; guinea fowl; water fowl; exotic ducks; pheasant; Throated Golden Amherst; Reeves; Swinhoes; Yellow Goldens; Ringnecks; Ringneck Mutations; Elliots; White Crested Kalijs; Siamese Firebacks; Guinea Fowl; French Crested Vulturines; Mandarins; White Mandarins; Carolinas Red-Crested Pochards; Ringed Teals; Northern Pintails; Europea; Shelducks; Chestnut Teals; Red-billed Whistling Ducks; Cinnamon Mandarins; Bahama Pintails; Marble Teals; Seabright Bantam Fowls and Peafowls.
Research of the country suggests that no other business park has achieved this level or variety of birdlife. It's our contribution to a morale building, cleaner, greener working environment.
