CSI Initiatives

Since June 2006, Sondolo IT has contributed numerous community computer centres to previously disadvantaged communities nation wide. Each one of these computer centres (developments) consists of furniture, air-conditioning, a hub, the instructor’s workstation and 15 sets of computer hardware and software. Sondolo IT technicians maintain and upgrade them regularly. The centres are housed in secondary schools and are managed by teachers, however, they are established for the benefit of local communities and schools in which they are housed. So far, thousands community members and students have been trained in the centres since their establishment. Sondolo IT continues to accept and assess requests for the establishment of computer centres in previously disadvantaged communities.
