Sondolo is a partner to many joint ventures with clients.  It is therefore in the best interest of all stakeholders to actively participate in and successfully implement the latest industry-related research and development (R&D).   This process is led by us by nature of our professional team.

Our commitment to provide the most cost-efficient and professional service is achieved by Sondolo's involvement  with the Group R&D.   We are therefore able to match and set market trends in anticipation of unexpected challenges and future unwinding scenarios.

Our expansive research laboratory is headed by a seasoned doctoral research team with global exposure and experience. This ensures that Sondolo IT is not only in the know, but also in the forefront of many groundbreaking industry developments.

Professional teams of the R&D laboratory are industry focused. Scientific papers on biometric surveillance, in which we are now industry field leaders, have been submitted to professional journals, as conference papers and for peer reviews. Strategic alliances have been formed with departmental heads at leading universities in South Africa.

Verification testing of systems is ensured in accordance with ISO 17025. Our laboratory’s active engagement in accreditation means that quality control procedures are applied in the selection of systems which are in line with international best practise. This further allows member companies of the group to identify and use the best products available in servicing client needs.

We provide customised, SETA aligned courses and training materials for our staff (and our clients as a value-add product). To cater for current and future talent needs in specialised and unique environments, we develop site specific training modules for application by our staff.

The design of our talent architecture is achieved through scientific screening and recruitment methods. To this end, a range of validated assessments are conducted on all suitably qualified employees to establish latent and manifest potential as well as integrity.
